Windows 2000 Networking Setup Instructions
1) Double click on My Computer.

2) Double click on Control Panel.

3) Double click on Network and Dial-up Connections.

4) Double click on Make New Connection.

5) Select the country you are in, type in your area code, and enter any
number you need to access an outside line, then click Next.

6) Click OK to select the dialing connection.

7) Selected Dial-up to the Internet and click Next.

8) Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually and click
Next.

9) Select I connect through a phone line and a modem and click Next.

10) Type in your local access number (Click
Here to get a local access number) and remove the check mark in from
of Use area code and dialing rules if you do not need to dial the
area code to call the access number. Click Next.

11) Type in your username and password and click Next.

12) Type in DSL Extreme.comfor your connection name and click Next.

13) Click Yes and Next to setup your email account.

14) Type in the name you would like to be sent with your email and click
Next.

15) Type in your email address and click Next.

16) Type in mail.dslextreme.com as the Incoming Mail Server and
smtp.dslextreme.com as the Outgoing Mail Server and click Next.

17) Make sure your account name is the same as the part of your email address
before the @. Type in your password and click Next.

18) Uncheck To connect to the Internet immediately and click Finish.

19) Right click on the new DSL Extreme icon.

20) Go down and left click on Create Shortcut.

21) Click Yes.

22) Close back to your desktop and double click on Shortcut To DSL Extreme.

23) Make sure your username and password are typed in correct and check
Save Password. Click to Dial to connect to the Internet.
